At drop off bring what you can: outgrown, gently used clothes, shoes etc.

Place donations in a bin under the school office table. Everything that has been donated to our fashion swap will be placed in our Fashion Swap store.

Students will be allowed to go through once a month beginning Feb, take items they need & be welcomed to come back every month as long as supplies last.

Leftover items will be offered to the appropriate classes and remaining items will be donated to local families in need.

If you know of a family in your extended community that could benefit from upcycled clothes please feel free to reach out through our contact us messaging to place your name on a waitlist along with desired sizes. If matching items remain after the month swap you will be contacted to pick up the items to give to the family.

14 days of Kindness/ Anti Bully Project

Bullying can threaten students’ physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. In an effort to ensure that our bullying prevention efforts are successful we ask that all parents, teachers & students that would like to help make a difference, Sign up in the office. Our Anti-Bully Committee will be responsible for planning Murphy Elementary's first Bully Prevention Festival, Together we can make a difference!

When parents, youth, and staff are involved in the solutions:

*Students feel safer and can focus on learning.

*Parents worry less.

*Teachers and staff can focus on their work.

*Schools can develop more responsive solutions because students are more likely to see or hear about bullying than adults.

*School climate improves because students are engaged in taking action to stop bullying.

*Parents can support schools’ messages about bullying at home. They are also more likely to recognize signs that a child has been bullied or is bullying others.
